Do I need to create an account?

No account needed! StreetLens works without registration or login. Just download the app and start exploring. Your purchases are securely linked to your Apple ID.

What personal data do you collect?

Nothing. No email, no name, no phone number, no tracking. Apple doesn't share any of your information with us when you make a purchase — and that's exactly how we want it. You'll never receive emails, ads, or marketing from us because we simply don't have your contact info.

How do purchases work?

All payments are handled securely by Apple through the App Store. We use the payment method you have set up in your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details.

What's the difference between a tour and a place?

A tour groups several places into a guided walk — you get audio stories for all stops, plus optional turn-by-turn navigation between them. A place is a single point of interest with its own audio story — no route, no navigation, just tap play and listen.

What do I get when I buy a tour?

Instant access to all audio stories for every point of interest on the tour, plus optional guided navigation between stops. You can buy the tour in one language or multiple languages if you prefer. Once purchased, everything is yours — download and enjoy anytime.

What do I get when I buy a place?

The audio story for that specific place, ready to play on your device. Just like tours, you choose a language when you buy. The audio duration varies based on how rich the history of the place is — you can see the estimated duration on the place page before purchasing.

How fast is the audio ready?

Within minutes of your purchase, the audio is automatically downloaded to your device. No internet needed to listen — just hit play anywhere. Internet is only required if you want GPS navigation guidance during a tour.

How does the guided experience work?

This applies to tours. Start the tour, follow the navigation to the first point of interest, and put your headphones on. When you enter a point of interest zone, the audio plays automatically — no need to look at your phone. Individual places don't have navigation — just tap play and listen.

Do I have to follow the tour route?

Not at all. Use the navigation if you want guidance, or explore freely at your own pace. Visit one point of interest today, another tomorrow — it's up to you. Just tap play when you arrive and listen while admiring what's in front of you.

Can I listen to a story more than once?

Yes! Once purchased, the tour is yours. Listen before you go to get excited, play it on-site while you're there, or revisit months later to relive the memories. No limits, no expiration.

Can I listen to the audio if I'm indoors?

Yes! The audio files are downloaded to your device, so you can listen anywhere, anytime — no internet required. At home, in a café, or inside a museum.

I changed phones or reinstalled the app. Can I get my purchases back?

Yes! Since purchases are linked to your Apple ID, not an app account, they restore automatically. Just install the app on any device signed into the same Apple ID and all your tours and places will be available within minutes — no action needed.

Do I need internet during a tour?

Audio downloads to your device and can be played anytime. An internet connection is needed during the tour for GPS navigation and maps.

How close do I need to be for audio to play?

Audio triggers automatically when you're within 25 meters of a point of interest. You'll see a notification when approaching.

Can I do a tour at my own pace?

Absolutely. There's no time limit. Pause whenever you want, take breaks, and continue when you're ready.

What languages are available?

Tours and places are available in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese.

How long are the audio segments?

For tours, each stop has 5 to 8 minutes of narration, with total tour audio ranging from 10 to 40 minutes depending on the number of stops. For individual places, the duration varies based on how rich the history is — you can see the estimated duration on each place page before buying.

Can I use the app with headphones?

Yes, we recommend headphones for the best experience, especially in noisy areas. The app works with any Bluetooth or wired headphones.

What if GPS isn't accurate?

GPS works best outdoors with a clear sky view. If you're having issues, try moving to an open area away from tall buildings.

Can I replay audio I've already heard?

Yes! Tap any point of interest in the tour list to replay its audio. You can also pause and resume at any time.
